Is your New Year’s resolution to try something new? Sign up for a virtual cooking class with Amy DuVall of From Politics to Pastry<\/a>!<\/a> The name of her burgeoning business alludes to Amy’s unexpected career path—which began in environmental law and lobbying, and transitioned to baking in early 2019.<\/p>\n

Amy continues to bake Italian sweets and other baked goods, but at the start of the pandemic, she also began to offer cooking classes via Zoom. She’s continuing to come into novice bakers’ homes (virtually) in 2022, kicking off the year with a biscuit-baking class on January 9th. Sign up for the session and Amy will send you the Zoom link, along with an ingredient list and recipe, prior to the start of class at 3 p.m. Then she’ll join you live to walk you through each step of crafting the biscuits. By the end of class, you’ll be able to sample your handiwork! Prefer to create something sweet?
