With the start of this new season, Oxon Hill Farm has finally reopened after a long COVID closure. The animals are ready to welcome you back! Come see this free farm’s variety of chickens, cows, pigs, and goats, or take a wagon ride down to the water for far-off gazes of Virginia in the distance. 

Oxon Hill Farm is a National Park Service-run park, so the Rangers that tend to the area know lots about the Mount Welby historic house and the area’s purpose during the Civil War. You can also enjoy a self-guided tour of antique farm equipment and structures, or utilize the Oxon Cove Park trails for walking or biking. Choose from the 1.6 mile hiker-biker trail of paved surfaces, or the half-mile woodlot trail through the forest area.
